Broxbourne youngster and Leyton Orient U18s captain Michael Clark has received a place in the top 11 apprentice footballers of October by the League Football Education (LFE).
He won the award due to great staff comments and his fantastic performances on and off the pitch.
He was heavily praised by LFE’s Gavin Willacy as he described the youngster as ‘an exemplary apprentice’. He has been working extremely hard in all areas of his game, trying to be the best he can possibly be and is now getting important experience with the reserves in the Central League as well as playing in the U18s team.
He is also on course to achieve DD in his BTEC at Rushcroft Foundation School – where his tutor Steve Reed named him as a ‘model student’- and is hoping to start a psychology course in the near future as well.
As a reward for his accomplishment Clark will be receiving £50 and a certificate for his work.
