Are you a man aged 35-65 years old? Is your trouser waist size at least 38 inches? Do you want to lose weight, have a healthier lifestyle and ultimately be fitter? Our new 12 week Football Fans In Training programme can help you do this.. and all for free!

You’ll get a behind the scenes look at the club, be trained by selected club coaches, have a nosy at the trophy cabinet and have the chance to talk tactics in the dressing room. Who knows, maybe you’ll even bump into a player or two. So what are you waiting for? The main aims of the programme are to:

•    Increase knowledge of diet & nutrition

•    Improve lifestyle choices

•    Increase physical activity amongst participants

•    Reduce weight and waist measurements

•    Increase engagement in other physical activity

The programme has been extremely effective in Scotland and working in partnership with SPFL Trust and with funding from the Big Lottery, Leyton Orient are one of the first clubs in England and the first in London to adopt it. The programme will begin in January 2016.

Colin, a previous Scottish FFIT participant, said: “I’ve always struggled to keep my weight down…On the FFIT programme, the weight began to fall off me purely by following the little hints and tips I was being given. No diet – just eating better and slowly becoming more active. By the time I had completed the course I had shed just short of two stone. I still feel I have a long way to go to get fit, but FFIT has given me the tools to do it!”

Sessions will be starting at Leyton Orient in January 2016 and will run for a block of 12 weeks at a time. Three blocks will be running throughout the year. The first block of sessions will run at the stadium and at the SCORE centre between 10.00am and 12.00pm on Thursdays from January 21st to April 14th.
