REACTION: Hendon - 'A great finish separated the sides'

Leyton Orient Head Coach Ian Hendon felt Leyton Orient matched Bristol Rovers despite their 2-1 loss at the Memorial Stadium.

Rory Gaffney’s second goal of the afternoon early in the second half was enough to win it for the hosts, after O’s top scorer Jay Simpson had cancelled out the strikers 31st minute opener in first half stoppage time.

The defeat brings the O’s six match unbeaten run in League Two to a halt, but Hendon felt their second half performance was an improvement on the opening 45 minutes.
