New Leyton Orient player-manager Kevin Nolan was delighted to get off and running with a welcome three points at Wycombe Wanderers.
The O’s picked up a 2-0 victory courtesy of second half goals from leading marksman Jay Simpson, who took his tally to 21 for the season, and a maiden strike for loanee Calaum Jahraldo-Martin.
Nolan admitted it had been a hectic first 48 hours since taking the helm, but was pleased, particularly with the second half performance.
The 33-year-old asked for more from his side after going into the break goalless, and was happy with the response he got from his side as they moved up to eighth in the League Two table.
