Calaum Jahraldo-Martin is keen to help the O’s fulfil their promotion aspirations after extending his loan deal from Hull City until the end of the season.
The winger was initially with the O’s on a one-month deal, but will now remain with Kevin Nolan’s side for the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign.
Jahraldo-Martin netted his first O’s goal in the 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers and feels there is a lot more to come from him during the remainder of the League Two campaign with Orient.
“I am pleased to get it sorted and I feel at home here. I have fitted in really well. I know all the players and I have been playing a few games,” he told leytonorient.com.
“To get off the mark in terms of goals is great as well. I feel comfortable and I feel I still have a lot more to give to the Orient fans, the Gaffer and all the players.
“I am in the right mindset and I am ready to push us up the table into the top three, and if not that then the play-offs.”
The 20-year-old has spent the last few weeks working with new player-manager Kevin Nolan, and is keen for the O’s to bounce back from Saturday’s 3-1 home loss to Cambridge United.
“The new Gaffer has been really good, He has great man-management skills and is very hands-on and friendly with everyone. He has high standards and expects us to be fighting for the top-three and if not that then the play-offs.
“Six points out of nine has been a good start but I think all of us on Saturday were sloppy and we didn’t perform anywhere near our best. We need to work on the training pitch and go again on Saturday down at Portsmouth and get a result.”
