Leyton Orient have completed the signing of Nicky Hunt from Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee, subject to Football League approval.
The 32-year-old defender has signed initally until the end of the season, though there is an option to extend the contract for a further year.
Hunt graduated through the Bolton Wanderers youth system and went on to spend 10 years at the Macron Stadium, in which he enjoyed nine years playing alongside O’s player-manager Kevin Nolan.
After leaving Wanderers in 2010, Hunt went on to join Bristol City before having spells at Preston North End, Rotherham, Accrington Stanley and most recently Mansfield – of whom he signed for last summer.
The defender, who made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Stags this season, will wear the number 34 shirt during his time at the Matchroom Stadium.
