Orient President Francesco Becchetti was pleased with the O’s transfer dealings in January as they look to boost their promotion hopes.
The O’s have managed to bring in six players during the month, including the permanent signings of Nicky Hunt, Nigel Atangana and striker Armand Gnanduillet, while also adding loanees Shaun Brisley, Jerome Binnom-Williams and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin.
However, along with the new arrivals, the top goalscorer in the top-four divisions in England remains with the Club.
“We have been pleased with our January transfer dealings and we have backed Kevin with his plans for the first-team squad,” said Becchetti.
“We are delighted to be keeping Jay at the Club and he is a player we are looking to build the team around. With the squad now at Kevin’s disposal we firmly believe we can push on achieve our aspirations of promotion.”
