Striker Ollie Palmer will be hoping to celebrate a win double against Portsmouth come the final whistle tomorrow.
The 23-year-old netted twice in the O’s Boxing Day win over Pompey at the Matchroom Stadium, while victory at Fratton Park would also see Kevin Nolan’s side move above the hosts in the League Two table.
And following last weekend’s disappointing defeat, the striker is eager for the O’s to bounce back in style.
“It’s been a good, intense week on the training ground. The Gaffer has been organising all week what he wanrts us to do with Portsmouth and how he wants us to play and counteract that,” Palmer told leytonorient.com.
“It’s been very detailed and we have been working hard every day and rightly so because we have got to get back to winning ways again. You always want to win games and score goals.
“I’m not too happy with the amount of goals I have scored this season and I want to build on that personally, but more importantl we have got to get back to winning ways an try to do the double over Portsmouth and we would go above them if we win so that is quite important.”
