The O’s and AFC Wimbledon were involved in a goalless draw this afternoon in the Final Third Development League encounter.
Orient named a team which included first-team squad members including Charlie Grainger, Bradley Pritchard, Nigel Atangana and Ollie Palmer but were unable to find a way past Dons first-team keeper James Shea.
Trialist saw a shot pushed round the post by the former Arsenal youngster in the Dons goal, before Pritchard saw a shot well tipped behind by the goalkeeper.
Sandro Semedo saw a shot well held by the Dons keeper, before the O’s youngster was shown his marching orders for an off-the-ball incident.
Shea did wellto tip away a Dunne free-kick moments later before Atangana and Palmer missed opportunities late in the half.
Grainger was called into action on a more regular basis in the second period, but was always able to keep the Dons at bay, denying Christian Toonga on a number of occasions.
David Fiztpatrick shot wide from 20 yards, but the closest the O’s went to picking up all three points was Blair Turgott, however, his 20 yard free-kick struck the bar.
Despite chances late on, neither side was able to break the deadlock as they settled for a share of the spoils.
