Orient player-manager Kevin Nolan was frustrated by the ‘sloppy’ goal his side conceded as well as their play in the final third as they lost out 1-0 at home to Luton Town.
Jack Marriott’s first half strike was enough to secure the Hatters victory and condemn the O’s to their first loss in four games.
“It was disappointing to not have more chances from the possession we had,” he told Orient PlayerHD.
“What it came down to was our final ball and a little bit of composure in and around the box. We knew how they were going to set up but the most disappointing thing for me was that we conCeded a very sloppy goal in my opinion.
“When the players see it back they will be very disappointed because it is something we work on and we need to make sure that doesn’t happen again. It was too easy. They had two chances all game and it came from their goalkeeper’s long kick and that can’t happen at any level.”
