New Orient loan signing Peter Ramage is hoping to hit the ground running with the O’s when they host Morecambe tomorrow.
The defender joined on a 28-day loan from League One side Coventry City, and is eager to make an instant impact.
“I am delighted to be here and I am looking forward to getting started and hopefully playing some games,” he told Orient PlayerHD.
“I knew the situation when I first went in at Coventry because I was going to fill in for some injuries and I played the first few games there. I got a phone call from the manager (Tony Mowbray) yesterday saying Leyton Orient wanted to take me on loan for a month to get some games and I am delighted to have the opportunity to do so.
“Coventry were fighting for a place in the Play-Offs when I first joined and it is a similar scenario here. Hopefully I can add something to the group, keep us in the Play-Offs and hopefully push on.”
