PREVIEW: Hunt hoping to maintain defensive record

access_time 6 years ago

Leyton Orient defender Nicky Hunt wants the O’s to continue their solid defensive form tomorrow at Accrington Stanley.

The clean sheet in last weekend’s 1-0 home victory against Morecambe was the seventh time that the O’s had not conceded in 11 attempts under player-manager Kevin Nolan, and Hunt has called for the team to maintain that record.

The trip to the Wham Stadium on Good Friday will see Hunt return to a former side having spent two-and-a-half years with Stanley, and the 32-year-old stressed the importance of grabbing a win against the O’s promotion rivals who currently sit fifth in League Two.
