Orient winger Blair Turgott knows they have to do ‘whatever it takes’ to make sure they are still in the Play-Off hunt come the end of tomorrow’s encounter at AFC Wimbledon.
The O’s need a victory if they are to have any chance of making the Play-Offs come the end of the season, and Turgott is hoping to have a positive impact following his return to the starting line-up for the last two games against Dagenham & Redbridge and Plymouth Argyle.
“I felt I did well on Saturday and I didn’t build off that performance as much as I would have liked to on Tuesday, but that was a frustrating one for everyone,” Turgott told Orient PlayerHD.
“If I get the chance again I have got to show everyone what I am about. It is the business end of the season and it is all about getting the three points whatever it takes.
He added: “I have had to wait for my chance and I have tried to stay focused and thankfully I have my opportunity to play.
“When you have the first Xi shirt you have got to put in the performances to keep it and hopefully I can continue to do that and help the team as much as possible.”
