Goalkeeper and Supporters’ Club Star Man Alex Cisak is keen for Orient to end a disappointing season with a second successive win.
The Aussie and his O’s team-mates picked up a 1-0 home win over Mansfield Town last weekend and while frustrated there is no end of season Play-Offs for the O’s is eager to end on a high.
“Hopefully the fans went home happy last weekend after the win, but it has been a disappointing season and we haven’t finished where we wanted to,” said the 26-year-old.
“I would like to thank the fans who have supported us both home and away and there is no excuses now – we have to get promoted next season.
“We owe it to the fans to end the season on a high and make it back-to-back wins at Yeovil.”
The Aussie stopper, who has been called up to the Socceroos national squad on a number of occasions this season, also scooped the Star Man award at the Supporters’ Club Awards night on Sunday, and he was understandably delighted to pick up the accolade.
“I was very happy to win the award,” he added. “There were a few players who could have picked up the award and the onyl disppointment is it’s not a double celebration alongside promotion.”
