KEY DATES: All the key dates in the 2016/17 League Two season

In little under a month, the O’s will know their fixture schedule ahead of the 2016-17 League Two campaign.

Fixtures for the new season are released at 9am on June 22, and you can see those first here on

Following on from that, the O’s will be in pre-season action with home friendlies against League One’s Charlton Athletic and Gillingham, while also heading to National League’s Dagenham & Redbridge and Woking.

The season begins in earnest on August 6, ahead of a First Round League Cup encounter in midweek, before the Football League Trophy is due to commence on the week commencing August 29.

Over the festive period, the O’s are due to be in action on both Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve before their first fixture of 2017 on January 2, 2017.

The League campaign is due to finish on May 6, 2017 before the League Two Play-Off Final taking place on May 28, 2017.
