Leyton Orient can confirm they have completed a deal for defender Callum Kennedy.
The left back has signed a one-year deal with the O’s, which will commence on July 1 following the expiration of his contract with AFC Wimbledon, and leaves the Dons having made 80 appearances since joining in 2013.
The 26-year-old started his professional career back in 2007 with Swindon Town, where he also had loan spells with Gillingham and Rotherham United.
Following his release by the Robins, Kennedy then completed the switch to Scunthorpe United for a season, and featured on 18 occasions for the Iron.
Kennedy then went on to link up with the Dons and was part of last season’s promotion-winning squad, and started the 2-0 Play-Off Final win over Plymouth Argyle on May 30.
An interview with the O’s fourth signing of the week will follow later on this afternoon on Orient PlayerHD.
