Leyton Orient are pleased to confirm the signing of French defender Yvan Erichot on a two-year deal, subject to international clearance.
The O’s have an option of extending the deal for the 26-year-old by a further year, and Erichot is a free agent following his release from Belgium Jupiler League side Sint-Truiden.
Last season he made 31 appearances for the Belgian side and will join the O’s on their pre-season tour to Italy, which begins on Sunday.
Central defender Erichot becomes the sixth summer signing for Orient, and came through the youth ranks with AS Monaco. During his time with the French club, he spent spells on loan with Clermont and Unaio Leiria, before linking up with Sint-Truiden.
An interview with the latest new signing will follow later on this afternoon.
