Orient boss Andy Hessenthaler is looking forward to the test Dover Athletic will pose when his side make the trip to the Crabble Stadium tomorrow (3pm kick-off).
The O’s returned to pre-season action on Tuesday with a 2-1 win over National League South side Wealdstone, emerging 2-1 victors thanks to goals from Jay Simpson and Sandro Semedo.
Hessenthaler took a strong O’s squad to Grosvenor Vale, and is likely to do the same tomorrow as the squad get more minutes under their belts.
“I was a little bit disappointed with the performance on Tuesday,” Hessenthaler told leytonorient.com.
“We won the game but for me it is not about that. It is about getting ready for August 6. We have to make sure we are ready and organised by the time of the Cheltenham game.
“These games are not going to be easy. We get these games to ensure we are tested. Wealsdstone was exactly that and the games do not get any easier with going to Dover.”
Admission prices for the O’s trip to Dover are £15 adults, £9 Over-60s and £6 Under-18s. Under-11s are free, when accompanied by an adult. A maximum of four Under-11s per paying adult. For car drivers, the post code to use for sat nav is CT17 0JB
