PREVIEW: O's make short trip to the Daggers

Leyton Orient’s penultimate pre-season friendly sees them make the short trip to Dagenham & Redbridge.
The O’s go into the game on the back of a goalless draw at the Matchroom Stadium against League One outfit Charlton Athletic, while the Daggers saw off  Bishop’s Stortford 6-1, with goals from Jordan Maguire-Drew, Craig Robson, Fejire Okenabirhe, Oliver Hawkins, Christian Assombalonga and Zapaba Victor.
John Still’s side suffered relegation from League Two last season, ending their nine-year stay in the Football League, however, they will be hoping to bounce back at the first time of asking with the manager who is now in his third spell as Daggers boss.
It was the O’s 3-2 victory at the Matchroom Stadium back in April which sealed the Daggers relegation. A first half double from Jay Simpson put Orient on the front foot, only for the visitors to claw themselves level with goals from Jamie Cureton and Clevid Dikamona, however, the O’s picked up all three points when Armand Gnanduillet found the net.
Orient are likely to take another strong squad to Victoria Road, with a number of the substitutes from Saturday’s goalless draw likely to start, while goalkeeper Charlie Grainger could also feature after missing out at the weekend.
Manager Andy Hessenthaler will be without defenders Nicky Hunt and Aron Pollock who miss the game with a ligament injury and tendonitis respectively.
Tickets for tonight’s match are priced at Adults £12, Seniors & Junior (U16s) £6
