O’s fans can look forward to a new addition to their weekend from now on with the club and Phoenix 98 FM combining to introduce a new one hour radio programme every Sunday evening.
The Orient hour will be broadcast on Phoenix 98 FM between 6-7pm, as well as through the Phoenix phone app and website www.phoenixfm.com
meaning that O’s fans can listen wherever they are in the world.
The programme will be a mixture of news, views and interviews and we hope to have a number of studio guests in the Phoenix studio over the next nine months.
The show will be hosted by Chris Hood, and will also feature manager and player reaction from each and every weekend O’s game.
Representing the Club, Chief Executive Alessandro Angelieri said; “It’s a great opportunity to get the Orient message out to a wider area – we are always looking to increase exposure for the club and we really hope that the Orient hour will become a regular feature on Sunday evening for all our fans.”
Among the guests this Sunday are Steve Jenkins & Leyton Orient Women FC manager Chris Brayford. Former Orient players Martin Ling & Peter Kitchen are lined up to be studio guests in the near future.
