PREVIEW: Leyton Orient v Stevenage

access_time 5 years ago
Leyton Orient will be looking to pick up their first league win of the season when they host Stevenage tonight at the Matchroom Stadium.
The O’s lost out 1-0 to Newport County AFC in their opening home league game of the season on Saturday, after Jamie Turley’s first half strike was enough to pick up the win for the Exiles.
Stevenage head into tonight’s encounter a place above the O’s in 19th, following a 1-1 draw at Notts County on Saturday, their first point of the season. Ben Kennedy’s strike put Darren Sarll’s side in front, before Jon Stead’s effort ensured a share of the spoils.
Manager Andy Hessenthaler has injury concerns over strikers Jordan Bowery and Paul McCallum.
The duo featured in Saturday’s defeat, but Bowery is still struggling with a knee injury, as is McCallum, who has returned this season following a knee ligament injury last term.
Midfielders Nigel Atangana and Harry Cornick impressed off the bench on Saturday despite the defeat, and will be pushing for starts this time around.
