Assistant Manager Andy Edwards was delighted with the O’s battling defensive display as they emerged 2-1 victors at Grimsby Town.

Goals from Liam Kelly and Ollie Palmer helped Orient make it back-to-back wins, despite Dominic Vose’s late consolation for the Mariners.

The win puts the O’s fourth in League Two at this early stage of the season, and Edwards believed confidence is growing amongst the group.

The O’s assistant always felt chances would come their way, and was pleased with the clinicalness of both Kelly and Palmer finishes.
