Leyton Orient can confirm the signing of French defender Teddy Mezague on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the club, having left Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Royal Excel Mouscron in the summer.
Mezague came through the youth ranks with Montpellier, and played 14 league games for the French side, while also spending a season on loan with FC Martigues where he netted three goals in 28 league appearances.
In 2014 he joined Royal Excel Mouscron and in two seasons with the club made 32 league appearances.
The defender is currently continuing his recovery and rehabilitation following surgery on an Achilles tendon injury in May.
An interview with the new O’s signing will be available later today.
