Orient boss Andy Hessenthaler was disappointed with his side’s showing at the weekend in the league defeat to Mansfield, and is keen to get a positive response from his side tonight as the O’s start their Checkatrade Trophy campaign against Stevenage at the Matchroom Stadium.
The O’s slipped to their second home league loss of the campaign on Saturday, and while admitting he will make changes for this evening’s encounter with Stevenage, he expects an improvement from his side.
Orient defeated Stevenage 3-0 at the Matchroom Stadium on August 16 in the league, with a double for Gavin Massey and one for Dean Cox, however, Hessenthaler is sure Darren Sarll will be after a response from his side following that loss.
