Orient defender Callum Kennedy believes the competition for the left-back spot can only improve his game, and if he gets the opportunity tonight he is keen to grab it with both hands.
The summer signing has had to bide his time with the impact of Sandro Semedo, but the 24-year-old believes having that competition is something which can enhance his game.
Kennedy featured in the 3-2 EFL Cup defeat to Fulham, but has been impressed with the form of his Portuguese team-mate this term, and knows he has job on his hands to force his way into manager Andy Hessenthaler’s starting XI.
The O’s boss admitted changes would be made for tonight’s tie, and if the former Wimbledon defender is selected, he is eager to make a positive impact.
