Leyton Orient are pleased to confirm the signing of France under-20 forward Ulrich N’Nomo from Chateauroux, subject to international clearance.
The O’s beat off stiff competition from sides in the top divisions of Portugal and Cyprus, with the forward penning an initial one-year deal at the Matchroom Stadium, with an option of a further year.
He joins having come through the academy at the French club and has featured at every national level from under-16 right through to under-20.
Comfortable playing on either wing or up front, N’Nomo scored five goals in 23 games last season for the Championnat National side as they went on to finish fifth.
Speaking on the move, N’Nomo told leytonorient.com: “I am very happy to be joining the club. It has also been a dream of mine to come and play football in England and I cannot wait to get started.
“The project of the club was what attracted me the most, and I look forward to playing in front of the fans here at the Matchroom Stadium,” he added.
“I feel my best attribute is my pace and I hope to contribute to a number of goals and assists in what I hope will be a successful season.”
