access_time 5 years ago
The O’s will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run away from home in the league when they make the trip to Morecambe tomorrow.
Orient lost out 2-1 at home to Mansfield Town in the league last weekend, with Matt Green’s 89th minute strike sealing the defeat, after Liam Kelly’s second goal in as many games had levelled matters.
Andy Hessenthaler’s side did bounce back strongly against Stevenage in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday, with a brace for Paul McCallum and a first senior goal for Sandro Semedo sealing a 3-1 victory.
Morecambe head into the encounter, with Brazilian businessman Diego Lemos acquiring a majority shareholding yesterday, subject to EFL consent.
The Shrimps also hold top spot in League Two with 12 points from a possible 15 as they set the early pace once more.
Last time out in the league they completed a 3-2 come-from-behind victory against 10-man Accrington Stanley.
Billy Kee’s double put Accrington in control, before former Shrimp Mark Hughes was shown a straight red card.
Cole Stockton pulled one back before the break, and Kevin Ellison scored a minute after the interval to level matters. Stockton went on to score the winner midway through the second period.

Striker Paul McCallum will  be hoping for a return to the league starting XI having scored twice in the 3-1 midweek win over Stevenage in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Midfielder Nigel Atangana is a major doubt having been forced off with a groin/hip flexor injury during the victory on Tuesday, while defender Yvan Erichot has returned to training following a slight injury.
New signing Ulrich Nnomo is waiting to find out if he can make his O’s debut with international clearance pending.
