Leyton Orient will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they travel to Notts County tomorrow.
The O’s suffered defeat last weekend at home to Yeovil Town with Tom Eaves’ second half header enough to secure all three points for the Glovers, and now lie in 10th spot ahead of the trip to Meadow Lane.
John Sheridan’s Notts County are 12th in the table and are behind the O’s only on goal difference following their 3-2 win at Cheltenham Town last Saturday.
Jonathan Forte put them ahead after just four minutes before they were pegged back when Danny Wright levelled matters 20 minutes later.
Jon Stead put the Magpies back in front just before half time and though Harry Pell netted an equaliser for the hosts Stead doubled his tally and put them back in front as they went on to secure their third win of the season.
Tomorrow’s hosts have had their own home troubles as well, with all three of their victories so far this season coming away from Meadow Lane.
When the two sides met in this fixture last season, Shaun Brisley netted the only goal of the game to give Orient all three points.
Defender Nicky Hunt remains a doubt for the O’s after being forced off through injury last weekend at home to Yeovil Town.
The injury is not as bad as first feared after scan results showed no ligament damage but whether he is fit enough to return against the Magpies remains to be seen.
Striker Jay Simpson and midfielder Nigel Atangana made a positive impact off the bench last weekend, and are pushing for starts after their return from back and groin injuries respectively.
