Manager Andy Hessenthaler revealed his disappointment in conceding so early into the second half following the O’s 3-1 defeat to Notts County.
Having gone into the break all square, goals from Jonathan Forte and Jon Stead within 10 minutes of the restart set the hosts on their way to become the first side to defeat Orient on their travels this season.
Louis Laing was given his marching orders 21 minutes from time for a second bookable offence, and despite Paul McCallum pulling a goal back on the 86th minute the Magpies victory was sealed by Aaron Collins’ strike two minutes into stoppage time.
Speaking after the defeat, Hessenthaler admitted his frustrations at the goals conceded and called for his side to bounce back on Tuesday night when the O’s host Plymouth Argyle at the Matchroom Stadium.
