access_time 5 years ago
Orient will be hoping to end a run of two defeats when the O’s host league leaders Plymouth Argyle tonight.
Following a 1-0 home loss to Yeovil Town last time out at the Matchroom Stadium, Orient followed it up with a 3-1 defeat at Notts County.
Jonathan Forte, Jon Stead and Aaron Collins were all on target for the Magpies, while Paul McCallum netted for Orient and the O’s now lie in 14th place going into tonight’s encounter.
Plymouth come into the game sitting pretty at the top of the table with 19 points from their nine games so far this season.
After starting the campaign with back-to-back defeats, the Pilgrims are currently on a seven game unbeaten run, and on Saturday drew 1-1 with Hartlepool United.
Jake Jervis’ 84th minute penalty salvaged a point for Derek Adams’ side, who were trailing after Nathan Thomas had put the visitors in front at Home Park.
Defender Yvan Erichot is a doubt for the O’s after picking up a groin injury in the 3-1 defeat at Notts County.
Ulrich Nnomo made his debut off the bench for the O’s at the weekend, and will be pushing for his first start, while O’s caretaker manager Andy Edwards could make other changes to the side which lost out at Meadow Lane on Saturday
