O’s striker Jay Simpson feels the belief is back in the squad as they head into tomorrow’s home game with Blackpool.
The 27-year-old netted his first goals of the season in last weekend’s 3-0 win at Colchester United as the O’s moved out of the relegation zone and is eager for the O’s to build on that impressive victory when Gary Bowyer’s side visit E10 tomorrow afternoon.
A change in system last weekend saw the striker stay higher up the pitch, which worked to both his and Orient’s advantage and hopes if the O’s continue to operate in a similar manner, more goals will come.
Simpson is expecting a tough test from the Tangerines tomorrow, and while knowing their away record isn’t the best, he is fully aware that results need to start coming at home for Alberto Cavasin’s side if they are to rise up the table.
