The club are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former player Peter Brabrook, who passed away on Saturday following a battle with cancer, aged 79.
Peter, who joined the O’s in 1968, enjoyed three years at Brisbane Road in which he accumulated 81 appearances and scored six goals.
An exciting winger, Peter combined brilliantly with the forward line and most notably helped the club clinch the Third Division title in 1970, contributing with a handful of assists throughout the 1969-70 campaign.
Prior to joining the O’s, he spent time with fellow London sides Chelsea and West Ham, amassing 486 appearances across the league, cup and Europe for the pair as well as scoring a combined total of 100 goals.
The club would like to pass on their condolences to Peter’s family and friends at this very sad time.
