Orient’s Paul McCallum admits the victory against Accrington Stanley in the last home game needs to spur the team on as they prepare to host Crawley Town on Boxing Day.
The 1-0 victory over Accrington was only the second home league win of the season, and the striker feels that has to be turning point for the side for the remainder of the season at the Matchroom Stadium.
At times like this the 23-year-old knows it is a case of points over performances as they head into a busy festive period, but hopes to start it off in positive fashion against the Red Devils.
McCallum started the 1-0 loss at Wycombe Wanderers last weekend alongside striker Jay Simpson, and the pair enjoyed some good times at the start of last season as they both netted regularly.
And if the pair start up front on Monday, McCallum hopes the two of them can start to replicate some of that form once again.
