Winger Gavin Massey believes the O’s can use tomorrow’s opponents Cambridge United as an example of what can be achieved despite a poor start.
Shaun Derry’s side found themselves towards the bottom after a slow opening to the campaign, but a five-game winning run has seen them now occupy the final play-off spot going into the fixture.
Massey also feels the team are buoyed in confidence by the back-to-back home wins over Accringotn Stanley and Crawley Town, though knows just how difficult a test the U’s will pose.
The winger, who was named in EFL’s Team of Boxing Day following the 3-2 success over Crawley, admits it is still early days in terms of moving up the table, but hopes to end the calendar year on a high.
