Orient boss Danny Webb praised his entire side as they came from behind twice before sealing a dramatic late 3-2 win at Plymouth Argyle last night.
The O’s trailed twice through Antoni Sarcevic and Matty Kennedy, but another strong showing from Gavin Massey saw the winger-turned-forward net in each half, with the first a fine individual goal before a second very similar to his strike at Yeovil on Saturday.
In stoppage time up stepped Massey once again as he played a part in the winner, which was finished off by Sandro Semedo as Orient produced a memorable night for the 156 fans who made the trip to Home Park.
Webb once again was delighted with the commitment and never-say-die spirit on show in Plymouth and cannot fault the efforts of the players since his appointment.
The O’s chief also believed the second half performance was up their with the best he has been involved in as a player or coach and was pleased to have a win to show for it.
Ten of the O’s 18 squad have come through the club’s Academy and that gave Webb even more pleasure, but he also highlighted the efforts of the other eight senior professionals who showed plenty of character and experience in the situation.
