O’s striker and captain for the day Paul McCallum was pleased with the side’s determination despite coming up short in a 3-2 loss to Notts County on Saturday.
Having trailed 2-0, the 23-year-old led the comeback with his 11th goal of the campaign, before Teddy Mezague netted what he thought was going to be worth a point.
Jon Stead and Notts County had other ideas though as he popped up with the winner late on, and though gutted to lose out in that manner, McCallum was pleased with the O’s performance once again.
The striker believes if the team continue to show that level of spirit then there should be no worries of Orient moving out of the relegation zone.
McCallum was also proud to captain the side in the absence of Liam Kelly, Nicky Hunt and Robbie Weir, and for the full interview sign up to Orient PlayerHD for as little as £4.49 a month.
