Orient boss Danny Webb was delighted with his side’s performance in the 4-0 win at Newport County despite the issues the club faced during the week.
Steven Alzate got the O’s up and running in South Wales with his first goal on his first senior start, before Josh Koroma stole the show with a hat-trick to seal a big win at Rodney Parade.
The 33-year-old was proud of the showing from the whole team and he feels his side have never shirked a challenge despite disappointing results of late.
Webb was full of praise for both Alzate and Koroma’s goalscoring feats, and they were two of 12 academy products in the matchday squad.
