The O’s are hoping to get back to winning ways when heading to Accrington Stanley tonight.

Orient come into the game on the back of a 3-0 reverse at home to Grimsby Town where Sam Jones, a Callum Kennedy own goal and Scott Vernon sealed a defeat for Danny Webb’s side.

The O’s are currently in 23rd spot in the League Two table but have picked up positive results on the road recently at Yeovil Town (1-1), Plymouth Argyle (3-2) and Newport County (4-0).

Accrington sit in 18th place ahead of the fixture and will be buoyed by a 2-0 win over Exeter City at the weekend.

Shay McCartan put John Coleman’s side in front with 11 minutes on the clock – his fourth goal in six appearances –  before Matthew Pearson sealed the victory at St James Park.

Of their 17 home games, Stanley have picked up six wins which have come against Doncaster (3-2), Portsmouth (1-0), Blackpool (2-1), Notts County (2-0), Colchester United (2-1) and Barnet (1-0).

In the reverse fixture back in December, it was Orient who emerged victors with a 1-0 win thanks to Jay Simpson’s second half strike.
