Orient defender Tom Parkes admitted the O’s were made to rue their defensive mistakes in the 4-1 loss to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
The 24-year-old netted his first goal for the club to send Danny Webb’s side in level at the break, however league leaders Doncaster made the most of their chances in the second period to come out winners.
Parkes was pleased with the O’s first-half showing, but knows they need to cut out those errors to give Orient the best chance of Football League survival.
Although pleased with his goal in the first period, the defender admitted a sense of frustration with it not playing a part in a draw or victory for the O’s.
