PREVIEW: Crawley Town v Leyton Orient

The O’s will be hoping to boost our survival hopes with a victory at Crawley Town tomorrow.

Orient head into the game on the back of a 4-1 loss to league leaders Doncaster Rovers last weekend, but will be buoyed by their first half showing where we more than matched Darren Ferguson’s side.

Tom Parkes netted his first goal for the club to level things up at the break after Tommy Rowe had put the visitors in front.

Rovers turned the screw in the second half though and a double from former O’s loanee John Marquis and one for ex-Orient captain Mathieu Baudry sealed the win for the South Yorkshire side.

Last time out Crawley drew 1-1 at Grimsby Town, with James Collins levelling matters for Dermot Drummy’s outfit after Sam Jones had fired the Mariners in front.

The Reds have not won any of their last six games, with their last victory a 2-1 triumph at Wycombe Wanderers on February 25.

Their home record at the Stadium has seen them pick up 25 of their 45-point total with seven wins and four draws.

The wins have come against Wycombe Wanderers (1-0), Luton Town (2-0), Blackpool (1-0), Grimsby Town (3-2), Newport County (3-1), Yeovil Town (2-0) and Hartlepool United (1-0).

O’s boss Danny Webb will be hoping to have both defenders Callum Kennedy and Nicky Hunt back in the side for the trip to Sussex tomorrow.

Both missed out last weekend due to knee and foot injuries respectively but Webb could be boosted by the return of the duo.

Midfielder Liam Kelly could continue to skipper the side after coming back from suspension to start last weekend, but injuries to Sammy Moore, Yvan Erichot and Paul McCallum are likely to rule them out of contention.

SKY BET BETTING (correct at the time of writing)

The O’s are 19/5 at Sky Bet to pick up all three points at Crawley tomorrow.

One boost for them is that the one success did come away from home with a fantastic 4-0 demolition of Newport – a repeat of that scoreline here is a whopping 200/1.

Crawley are odds-on at 7/10 as they bid to end a run of six games without a victory with a draw 13/5.
