After the success of the first ever official matchday rides last season they return this season for another two matches in April. Leyton Orient are offering up to 50 free tickets for participants who get on their bike and cycle to the match vs Wycombe on April 1 or the game vs Colchester on April 29.
Each ride will start at the centre of Leytonstone green man roundabout and will make its way to Walthamstow Library then onto the Matchroom stadium following a safe and enjoyable cycling route. The ride will make use of some of the new mini Holland infrastructure and will be accessible for riders of all ages and abilities (videos of the ride route can be found on the website). The ride will be led by qualified ride leaders and on arrival everyone who takes part in the ride will receive a free match ticket to see the O’s in action. Riders will then have the opportunity to be led back on the reverse of the same route after the match too if they wish. The stadium has plenty of cycle parking on arrival. In order to obtain a free ticket, riders must sign up in advance on eventbrite via the following links:

The rides are part of a larger programme Leyton Orient Trust are running called ‘Cycling is my Goal’ that is supporting more people to improve their confidence and cycling skills to ride on the roads. The next block of this commences April 19 and will be open to families to take part in with weekly sessions taking place at the SCORE centre. More information on this can be found at our website: http://www.leytonorienttrust.org.uk/cyclingismygoal/
