Title-winning Leyton Orient WFC will round off their successful league campaign with their first fixture on the hallowed turf at the Matchroom Stadium when hosting Fulham FC Foundation on Sunday (May 7).
The team already secured the London & South East Regional Women’s League with two games remaining, before Sunday‘s 4-0 success over Carshalton Athletic – with goals coming from Sophie Le Marchand (2), Ellie Davies and captain Danielle Griffiths.
And having had such a successful campaign, which has also seen them scoop the Mayor’s Cup after a 13-0 demolition of East End Academy, the team will look to end the league season in style with a 16th victory in 18 games.
The game will kick-off at 2pm on Sunday, with admission prices set at £3 Adults, while children under the age of 16 are free so why not come along and give the O’s women’s team your full support.
The season is not over there though as they have the opportunity to add more silverware when taking on Crawley Wasps in the League Cup Final which will be held at Maidstone United’s Gallagher Stadium on Sunday, May 14 (2pm kick-off).
