PREVIEW: Leyton Orient v Solihull Moors

access_time 4 years ago

Having suffered a 2-0 opening day defeat at Sutton United, Steve Davis’ side will be looking to bounce back at the Matchroom Stadium and get our first points on the table.

Sutton United captain Jamie Collins opened the scoring after 15 minutes from the penalty spot, before the hosts doubled their lead on the 34th minute through Dean Beckwith.

Solihull Moors arrive in East London for their first game of the season after seeing their home fixture against Chester postponed last Friday due to safety reasons.

With the postponement, Liam McDonald’s side had to frustratingly sit out the opening weekend of the Vanarama National League season and will be eyeing a positive start tonight.

The Moors recorded a 16th place finish in the National League last season.

Head Coach Steve Davis has a fully fit squad available at his disposal once again.

The O’s squad came through the Sutton fixture unscathed injury wise, with trio Craig Clay, Josh Koroma and Romuald Boco pushing for starting spots having come off the bench at Gander Green Lane.

Season Tickets can be collected from the Ticket Office dedicated windows tonight unless otherwise advised, and supporters collecting are advised to arrive to the Matchroom Stadium early.
