PREVIEW: Maidenhead United v Leyton Orient

access_time 4 years ago

Orient travel to York Road having shared the points at home to Eastleigh on Saturday, thanks to Craig Clay’s dramatic 97th minute equaliser to cancel out Ayo Obileye’s first half penalty.

Maidenhead sit in 10th place following a solid start to the season, having only been beaten once in their opening six matches.

Alan Devonshire’s men have also registered two wins and three draws, with the Magpies recording a 1-1 tie away to managerless Barrow on Saturday.
Maidenhead were promoted from the National League South last season, having finished as champions.

Head Coach Steve Davis has hinted at making several changes to the side following Saturday’s draw against Eastleigh.

With such a short space of time between the fixtures, Davis could look to freshen things up in certain areas of the pitch, but will definitely be without First Team Captain Charlie Lee who suffered a knee injury in training last week and is expected to be out for a considerable amount of time.
