Orient will be looking to bounce back in front of the BT Sport cameras after a midweek defeat against FC Halifax Town.

Adam Morgan opened the scoring for the Shaymen early on, before Tom Denton doubled the lead on the 29th minute to give the visitors a 2-0 lead at the break. Matthew Kosylo then secured victory with a penalty 16 minutes from time to end the O’s unbeaten home record.

Hartlepool United sit 17th in the National League, following three wins, three draws and four defeats.

Pools, who were relegated from the Sky Bet League Two last season, started the season poorly having failed to win in their opening six matches but Craig Harrison’s men have responded with three wins in their last four matches.

Hartlepool arrive in E10 on the back of a goalless draw at Wrexham on Tuesday night.

The O’s will continue to be without defender George Elokobi who has been ruled out for four to six weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in the defeat at Boreham Wood last Saturday.

Duo Josh Coulson and James Dayton also missed out midweek with respective groin and hamstring problems and remain doubts.

First Team Captain and long-term absentee Charlie Lee continues to recover from his knee injury sustained in August after undergoing surgery on Monday.
