The O’s come into the game on a run of three matches unbeaten, and defeated Dagenham & Redbridge in an Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round Replay on Tuesday night.

Macauley Bonne gave Orient the lead in the 23rd minute before the O’s remained sturdy under a barrage of late pressure to frustrate the division’s top scorers and register a clean sheet for the second match in a row.

Macclesfield Town arrive at E10 on a high, sitting top of the National League with nine wins, two draws and four defeats.

John Askey’s men defeated Northern Premier League side Stourbridge FC 5-0 on Saturday to earn a Emirates FA Cup First Round tie away to League Two side Forest Green Rovers. Danny Whitehead opened the scoring in the 10th minute before goals by Tyrone Marsh, Elliott Durrell, Koby Arthur and Scott Burgess secured a large win.

The Silkmen finished in 9th position in the Vanarama National League last season.

O’s Head Coach Steve Davis has a selection headache following an impressive team display on Tuesday night.

Loanees Mark Ellis and James Brophy were ineligible for the Emirates FA Cup matches against the Daggers but will be hoping to return to the squad for Saturday’s match, along with midfielder Jobi McAnuff who also missed the previous two games with a groin injury.

Alex Lawless missed out on Tuesday through suspension having collected a fifth caution in the original fixture against Dagenham & Redbridge, but remains a doubt this weekend due to a groin problem.
