This comes following the incident which took place after the full-time whistle of last weekend’s fixture at Ebbsfleet United between Jamie and a few supporters. As a result, the defender has received a written warning as well as being instructed to represent Leyton Orient at the next four community events to remind him of the values of the Club.

Following the incident, Jamie published an apology on his Twitter account Sunday morning, saying:

“I just want to clear the situation up from yesterday. After the game, I went over to the fans to apologise for the recent performances and results. It hasn’t been acceptable and I completely understand your frustration. I, along with everyone associated to the Club, feel it too. What caused my reaction was the level of abuse alongside something that I perceived to be thrown in my direction, though I fully understand it was wrong of me to react how I did and sincerely apologise for that.”

Jamie realised that what he did was unacceptable and showed remorse for his actions by posting the message on social media. However, Jamie’s actions at Ebbsfleet are something that the Club does not condone in any way and will not tolerate from any member of staff.
