The 18-year-old defender joined the Swifts on Friday on a work-experience loan and faced a difficult test in his opening match as the Bostik North side travelled to Bostik Premier Division side Kingstonian.

Despite leading the game twice, Heybridge Swifts were held to a 2-2 draw thanks to a late strike by Taylor Miles, and will face a replay on Wednesday.

Midfielder Freddy Moncur played for 89 minutes for Evo-Stick South Premier Division side Bishop’s Stortford in their 2-2 draw away to Redditch United on Saturday.

The midfielder impressed for the Blues and almost sealed the three points on the 85th minute but forced a good save from the Redditch ‘keeper.

Goalkeeper Arthur Janata played 90 minutes for Romford but couldn’t stop his side from falling to a 2-0 defeat to Barking.

Interim Head Coach Ross Embleton was keen to stress the benefit these loans can have both for the Club and player, saying; “Being able to provide the younger players with an introduction to men’s football is hugely important for us as a Club.

“Each player has different requirements, and with the three boys currently out on loan they are all looking to continue developing as individuals. Freddy of course already has first-team experience under his belt, but at this stage of his career it is crucial that he is playing regularly which has been the case for him at Bishop’s Stortford.

“The lads continue to train with us during the week in order for us to monitor their development, and it is vitally important that we work closely with the teams that they are with to ensure it is benefitting all parties involved.”
