The O’s fell to a 1-0 defeat away to Solihull Moors on Saturday in Edinburgh’s first game as Head Coach, following his appointment on November 29.
The home side took the lead on the 59th minute through Liam Daly, and the defender’s header proved decisive as the Moors claimed all three points.

Sutton United arrive in E10 sat top of the National League, making them the third side in the previous five matches to visit the Matchroom Stadium whilst at the summit of the table.

Paul Doswell’s men claimed three points over Eastleigh on Saturday, taking the lead through Tom Bolarinwa on the 13th minute. Thomas Wright doubled the advantage eight minutes from time to seal the victory.

The U’s finished in 12th position in the National League last season, and ran out 2-0 victors when the O’s travelled to Gander Green Lane on the opening day of the season.

The O’s continue to be without defender Jake Caprice who will serve the second of a three-match suspension, while Jamie Sendles-White is also absent through suspension following a misconduct charge.

However, Justin Edinburgh will have Alex Lawless available for selection after the midfielder returned to training this week following a groin injury.

Defenders George Elokobi and Josh Coulson continue to make good progress with the rehabilitation programmes, with the latter hopeful of returning to full training in the coming weeks.
