Justin Edinburgh’s side have lost just twice in their previous eight matches and will be looking to take three points back to London in a bid to record their first league win of the new year.
FC Halifax Town welcome Orient to West Yorkshire after having gone five league games without a win, their last came on December 23rd when a 4-0 win over Chester saw them go in to Christmas with back-to-back wins.
Billy Heath’s side will be looking to produce a performance similar to the one shown in the second round of the FA Trophy when they defeated league leaders Macclesfield Town 1-0.
The Shaymen earned promotion from the National League North in the 2016/2017 campaign when they finished third and beat Chorley 2-1 in the finals to return to the National League.
The two sides last met mid-September when the Yorkshire side ran out 3-0 victors before the game on 20th January was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
James Dayton was injured in the 2-3 defeat againstAldershot Town on the weekend with the midfielder picking up a calf injury in the first half which saw him substituted just minutes before half time and is unlikely to feature against FC Halifax Town.
Myles Judd and Jamie Sendles-White continue to struggle with injuries and remain doubts for this evening’s match.
